Benefits of working with me

Who I work best with?

Although I can help support many different types of people, I work best with those who are interested in an integrative, holistic, and spiritual approach. This means that I am not only interested in what you think about or the current challenges you are facing, but I am equally as curious about what you notice and feel in your body. People who are interested in working with me are often asking questions about how their struggles and difficulties can be a stepping stone for deeper growth, are wondering what it means to be human from a spiritual perspective, and are motivated to live a more fulfilling life that honors who they are at the core of their being.

Local and Destination Retreats

Retreats are an invitation to restore, rest, and nourish yourself as well as learn practical self-care practices to live daily life with understanding and ease. These retreats integrate somatic gentle yoga, breathing, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, reflection, and nature. Time on retreat leads you toward a deep connection to yourself.

“If you allow yourself to be the person you are then everything will come into rhythm.”

A bit about me

A Certified IFS Therapist with extensive training in Somatic Yoga Therapy, Mindfulness Meditation, and Healing Our Core Issues (HOCI).

As a therapist, I consider myself a companion to you on this journey of healing, self-discovery, and transformation. This isn’t just a therapeutic space; it’s a relationship where we explore, heal, and embrace the potential of your deepest wishes and potential.

I bring decades of personal and professional self-inquiry, meditation, and somatic yoga therapy experiences. Through these experiences and years of training, I’ve woven together a unique approach that integrates the mind, body, and heart; specifically informed by and based on Internal Family Systems and Healing Our Core Issues model.

I blend heartfelt support with a structured, practical, and evidence-based approach. My intention is to help you gain perspective and connect you to your innate wisdom and essence. This approach provides insights and healing into the intricate web of your mind, body, and heart.

Therapeutic Services

Individual Therapy

Often, when times are difficult, we need the support of another person to listen, offer perspective, and hold space for the complexities of being human. Individual therapy offers a personalized approach to your needs, incorporating a body-based philosophy, education about the science of the nervous system and brain, and a holistic viewpoint that we are interconnected in our own system of mind, body, and heart but also with the external systems we live in and are impacted by.

Therapeutic Intensives

At times, we require more time to comprehend and deal with the complexities of being human, which impact how we feel, think, and engage with life. Therapeutic Intensives provide a nurturing and efficient way to start or continue the therapeutic process. Spending an extended period allows for delving deeper into areas where you may feel stuck or during more challenging times.

Internal Family Systems

In IFS, symptoms are welcomed and understood as a reaction and in relation to experiences in your life. The inward and meditative process invites beliefs, memories, feelings, and sensations as an entry point into your inner world that helps uncover the origins of early wounding and experiences. A connection to your wisdom and innate qualities are the gifts to your healing.

Somatic Therapy

The somatic approach is an integrative philosophy that honors the connection between mind and body. Each aspect of a human system affects the other and contributes to your well-being and health. Somatic Therapy utilizes gentle body movements, breath, visualizations, mindfulness, and reflection from a yoga perspective.
